The wines of South Africa are distinctive because they strike a balance between the New & Old World. The wines have elegance from old world techniques, and power and complexity of new world terroir, which makes them particularly interesting to me. I will be joined by three remarkable wine makers on Sunday afternoon for a braai—that’s South African for barbecue!

We will taste along side the wine makers and enjoy an afternoon with Thenis Kruger of Fram Wines, Craig Hawkins of Testalonga, Ginny Povall of Botanica, and Tremayne Smith of The Blacksmith Wines. Each of these wine makers has their own way of doing things, but they all arrive at wines of precision and elegance and power. Come learn more about why.
