Listening to Wine--Sound Bath & Wine Tasting
Learning to hone your palate is no easy task. Above all it requires focus, and in our increasingly busy world, that is hard to do. Maria will be joined by Allison Schumann, Sound + Vibrational Energy Facilitator, for this class. The goal is to illustrate the value of being present and apply that skill to the act of wine tasting. You will be given a number of tasting techniques during a series of sound experiences. The impact of the sound journey is to heighten our awareness and focus our senses on tasting and identifying wines. You will be astounded by your improved awareness!

Wine Blending Seminar-- April 9th 630pm
In this hour long seminar, you will learn to blend like a pro! We will sample Grenache, Syrah, Mourvedre, Cinsault, and Cabernet Sauvignon as single varietals from a a few different barrels. You will be surprised by the variations. Then we will work to create the best blend. This is the fun part!
If you fall in love with a blend, you can order a case of your own wine and even put your dog on the label!!

Wine Forum -- Orange Wines
Looking to try something a little different? Heard about “skin contact wines” or “orange wines” and wondering what that might be? This seminar will push you to try something new! Perhaps it would surprise you to learn that orange wines have nothing to do with oranges! It is not even a new technique. In fact, skin contact white wines have been around since the inception of wine making. As of late, many winemakers have a renewed interest in making whites that have texture and structure, tannins, and depth of flavor that only the skins can provide. Let’s taste a handful of these wines and talk about what they offer us on the table. You will have some new options for your next dinner party!
